Since the First Conference which took place in Brussels in 2004, Renewable and Distributed Energy Resources have been expanding into the electricity grids worldwide: yet, their further grid integration will still raise issues and challenges..
In line with the Second Conference held in the Napa Valley on December 2006, it is the aim of this Third International Conference to reinforce the dialogue between all the involved players, starting from science and technology experts and reaching utility operators, regulators and policy makers. This dialogue appears to be the prerequisite within which large scale integration of DER units can be promoted for the benefi ts of all the involved players.
This Third Conference is organized in partnership with: the EC supported EU-DEEP project coordinated by Gaz de France, and the IRED Cluster coordinated by ISET. It is made of three complementary sessions, where experts as well as program managers from USA, Canada, Asia-Pacific and Europe regions will debate on the hottest integration issues. |
Participants are invited to join in a location at the heart of the French Riviera: the city of Nice. Apart from the attractive location, we hope that the proposed lectures from key operational speakers will convince you to take part in the stimulating debates on large scale DER integration.
We call upon you and any of your interested colleagues to book these three days in December 2008. Posters on related topics are welcome to complement the invited lectures.
